Advertising is likely to provide a large part of the revenue
derived from providing a public access service. The advertising
space available on a NetShift interface is fully configurable
and can contain an interactive element, allowing a user
to click on a link for an advertised product, visit the
seller's Web site and possibly even make a purchase, all
in a few simple clicks. Advertising banners can utilise
the full seductive potential of HTML, with video, flash
or other image formats tailored to fit a customised space
within the interface. As the banners are built in to the
interface, they are always present when the customer is
browsing on the public access device.

In order to maximise the potential of the advertisements,
it is necessary to target them. This can be done by taking
note of a public access device's usage patterns and location,
and providing this information to potential advertisers.

You can control which advertisements are displayed, when
they are shown and for how long. Content Manager has a dedicated
'Advert Manager' window that can be used to schedule and
automatically deploy multiple manifests of advertising and
other media assets, permitting operators to remotely respond
to and adjust branding, advertising and revenue campaigns.
